It is hard to believe it is almost the end of a long school year for Erin Sophia! We will all readily admit 1st grade had many ups and downs and as June 5th rapidly approaches it is a good time to reflect.
- Reading or NOT reading let me count the ways this became a struggle, challenge and triumph!
- Behavior Management – how does one manage the fire, passion and confidence of a 45 year old in a 7 year old body? There were a few conflicts but thankfully not everyday day, week or month. All said and done, probably five conflicts and two involving the principal. And none resulting in bodily harm, swear words or intent to harm (Whew, as I wipe my sweaty brow).
- Emotional Growth – ummm the term, “sassy” quickly comes to mind. Followed quickly by the word, stubborn!
